Carolina Alegria (Wednesday classes)

Carolina Alegria became a yoga instructor in 2013 as she was pursuing a 700-hour training program with Moksha International. Her classes draw on different yoga styles such as hatha, vinyasa flow, power flow as well as yin yoga.

Her aim is for you to explore yoga by learning yoga’s foundations and alignment principles, by bringing breathing and movement together in order to ground yourself in the present moment, or simply by focusing on muscles or connective tissue in a yin class.

In addition to teaching yoga, Carolina has been a massage therapist for 12 years.

Geneviève Beaulieu (Saturday classes)

In September 2015, Geneviève’s passion for yoga took shape when she joined Moksha yoga studio for a month long intensive training session, after which she decided to refocus her life and devote herself entirely to yoga. She used to work in the food service area, but she now teaches yoga full-time and has been studying osteopathy since 2016, thus furthering her knowledge of the human body. She teaches at the three Montreal Moksha locations and her classes include hatha yoga, vinyasa flow, yin, yin yang, and power flow. Everyone is welcome, whether beginner or more advanced.

Geneviève successfully shares her love of yoga practice, teaching intelligent and logical sequence based classes with a gentle and self-challenging approach.
